Amex return policy question...

I bought $1700 worth of product from China and found out they miss printed my order. They are not willing to do anything and I paid for it on my american express.

They notified me of the missprint before they sent it and were not willing to refund me any money or reprint the product...

Do I have a leg to stand on if I contact AMEX or since its China they will not help me out?
