I have ordered from them over the phone and the service was very brusque-well it was 2 days before christmas!
Order from them WELL in advance of the holidays as they get swamped-and they close from christmas to New Years day.
P.S.If any of you are in the LA area my butcher,Alexanders meats at Howies Market,is super.A real old fashioned butcher which sell prime beef(not cheap-but oh so worth it!)They are on San Gabriel Blvd. and Duarte road.

www.stockyards.com I have since ordered another two times and am getting ready to place another order. Their website shows the restaurants they supply to.

Mrs BV's dad is celebrating his 80th birthday. We had planned to send him some steaks from Omaha, but I knew I had to check here first. I'm glad I did. Stockyards looks good. Has anyone tried their non-meat products; vegetables, potatos and cheesecake? Mrs BV thinks it would be nice to provide the entire meal since his wife doesn't like to cook.
