Each year I treat myself to a mini trip to the US but I like to go via the Far East. This year I was thinking about routing via DXB to BKK or SIN. I usually like to take the longest, more bizarre routes to maximise the number of flights I can have. Yeah, I know sad but I have the miles to burn, enjoy a few J meals and moves, collect a few amenity kits etc.

I have been looking at various combinations on OS, TG etc but the gold old YQ - Fuel Tax - does add up. Can anyone suggest the best airlines for Z2 to Z8 and then to Z3 that have lower YQ charges? Or any other tax reducing ideas. I am happy to spend C+M and have worked out the best way to reduce them but not the YQ.
