These occurred at the same time.
I just did a quick search on the ANA booking tool using star alliance partner awards (friends of mine are looking to travel) for 16 June ex MEL and it shows:

SQ228 at 1540 as being operated by the A380 and available in biz and eco

but

SQ238 at 1110 being operated by a 77regional with no availability at all.

Is this becuase they are already planning an equipment change and likely that if you are able to secure a seat on the SQ228 (currently showing as the A380) that you'll find yourself 'downgraded' to regional?

I actually can't find a First class seat on SQ at all ex MEL now - checking random dates in June, August and October. Will these come back once the aircraft types have been loaded and the 77regional is confirmed?
