As an Elite, I guess very simply I would summarize it as being able to upgrade from all fares except L and Q on all flights, domestic and international, and to confirm that upgrade at the time of booking! That one only needs a single certificate to upgrade on a transcon [versus two NAmerican certificates]. That seasonal discounted awards include ExecFirst on international flights. I am not really sure what value the Concierge Service really is, though I am sure SEs can explain it to me.
