Expedia will never randomly give you two tickets.... It isn't that smart of a computer.

AC 333 to FRA with a Pod and then LH really isn't a bad plan. LX can get you to India at a good fare in J, but YUL-ZRH seats are weak. You can also look at Jet Airways code share via LHR or YYZ (YYZ routes via BRU too so you might be able to get YUL-BRU depending on how you define soon). Just remember you have to book the AC flight numbers on Jet and save your boarding passes just in case
