But, here's my problem with Chase.

When I call to make the balance transfer, the rep says nope, a $2,000.00 balance transfer doesn't count, you need to make $2,000.00 in purchases. I've been going round and round with them on this, even sending them (via fax) a copy of the T&C to no avail.

Has anyone connected with a person at Chase who has done the balance transfer as promised in the abovementioned T&C so that you were awarded the 50K bonus for the $2,000.00+ balance transfer?

I don't necessarily need a name and direct line, but something (a particular department, call center location) that I should contact that can properly handle this would be most appreciated.

Extra bonus if, in a discussion with a rep, the rep cited something they checked (e.g. "I [the rep] looked in our normal policies, but it wasn't there, it's actually in the XXXX policy") that I can reference when I call Chase back.

I've been getting the run around with several call center reps and supervisors. Most recently, Chase folks in (or, I should say with) a 417 (Springfield Missouri) area code have said there's no such offer (even backtracking on the 50K bonus for the first purchase)!
