My dad will be working in Sweden for the Spring semester, and has invited me out to see him over my spring break. I was searching for fares, and noticed that British Airways is about $300 cheaper than anyone else. I was wondering a few things...

First: Do I get miles in my AA account for the trip? (Phoenix - London - Stockholm)

Second: As AA Platinum, do I get to use the club lounges on the trip?

Thrid: Can I use AA miles to upgrade on the trip? If so, how many miles are needed?

Fourth: Has anyone ever had any luck of getting an operational upgrade to business on BA as an AA Plat?
