So wait, I might be a little slow here but... if I am a US person (errr I am acutally) and I get Aeroplan Elite Status and associated *A gold status, I will be able to visit *A lounges in the US during domestic flights on other *A carriers for example CO? Where as if I were elite on a US FFP for example CO, and similarly had *A gold status, I would not be permitted to access CO lounges?
I am a newbie so I may not have understood but if this is the case I see why Gary Leff rated Aeroplan so highly in this month's conde nast traveler. It seems a bit on the unfair side but then I guess that is why us frequent fliers need FT to even things up
Please correct me if I got it wrong.
