The service was dismal as always. No express laundry service, I had to remind them to deliver by Fedex package several times and not trusting them to press my trousers, used the iron provided in the room. I went to dinner and left the iron and ironing board directly in front of my door, assuming the maid would put it away when they came for turndown service. They left it untouched. The lobby carpet was filthy. Ok, it was snowing but it could still be cleaned. I did stay in the new wing which was a notch up from the older building but certainly nothing special. Considering the space, they could have really made it spectacular. The only bright star, was the two star Michelin restaurant, Matbaren which I highly recomend.
Goodness Speedbird001 in five years what has been ascertained in the Nordic region is:

Oslo : No acceptable luxury hotel

Stockholm : The Grand (a bit shoddy with the exception of The Burmanska suites)

Helsinki : The Kamp

Copenhagen : The Nimb
