It was served in individual fairly deep glass bowls with ample Romain leaves as a base. On top of the lettuce was a barely poched egg, two anchovies and some fairly serious sgavings of imported Italian Parmesan (Reggiano). The slad has an oil and vinegar dressing so in some sense I guess it was a deconstrcted Caesar.
