On top of the lettuce was a barely poched egg, two anchovies and some fairly serious sgavings of imported Italian Parmesan (Reggiano). The slad has an oil and vinegar dressing so in some sense I guess it was a deconstrcted Caesar.
That's a "coddled" egg... (and in tradition, the bowl ought to be wood)
Deconstructed seems to be an accurate choice
