I am travelling to OZ and NZ on QF in J using CO miles. CO gets me to and from the QF gateway (in this case, LAX) as part of the award. My fare class in Y in both directions is XN. I am waitlisted for F in both directions, as well. I am a CO Platinum.

Now, how is the upgrade to F handled? I'm sure any Y class fare purchasers get upgraded when ticketed, as do the Elite B class purchasers. Where do I fit in the pecking order as to being upgraded to F? I'm assuming I'm part of the EUA system, but does my seat purchase using miles get me more towards the front of the EUA queue or am I at the back of the line?
