I don't think CAN is having any bad feeling at all, CAN probably having more than enough air traffic with all the Courier traffic migrating to them and International traffic, and we all know Macau can never develop itself as a hub, but like LCC centric airport (Viva / AirAsia)

The one having serious bad feeling should be SZX (ShenZhen Airport) if the 3rd runway plan really go online. If HK getting one additional runway, all it needs is for Dragonair (well, HKA / HKE as well) to add more HKG China mid-haul flight to screw ShenZhen.

With the China High Speed Rail, any short haul flight is going to vanish which free up slots at HKG (like shuttle for XMN / CAN) for crazy expansion of Mid / Long Haul thin destination.

Let's see how those consultant says for HKIA 2030
