Looking at the pictures linked above, it looks like a similar nylon to what my pack is made of, the square ripstop pattern looks about the same.

I had a sharp rock cut through one of the pockets on my pack about 3-4 years ago, GoLite offered to replace the pack but they no longer offered the same model as the one I have, so I just put a patch over it.

I have had no problems with abrasion, and packs (as you can imagine) are subjected to a lot of dirt and friction
