I just landed yesterday on KA, noticed that the entire south side of the of the main terminal (gates 21-32) were all CX metal, with the exception of my KA flight which docked at 27 (I landed around 4:15pm). The reason I ask is that I saw a CX 74A at Gate 21, which almost always has the Swiss A340 parked there during that time of day.

Literally gates 21, 23, 25, 29 and 31 were all CX metal (I was on the KA A330 that docked at gate 27). Did something change? I recalled often CI using at least two of those gates, as well as a few of the smaller randoms like Mauritius, Shanghai Airlines etc. One thing that comes to mind is the now-functional remote terminal...I've seem most of the narrow body traffic (including Shanghai Airlines) parking out there
