We booked a GOL flight in September from Salvador to Rio. We arrived an hour or so before the flight and were the only people in the check-in line. I don't recall there being anything noteworthy about the flight. Budget-type operation, but no complaints. Pretty much right on time to Rio. AA had just made the deal with GOL to award AA miles for a GOL flight. The miles posted very quickly.

I made the reservation online. My travel agent said he couldn't do it. Go figure! I can't remember what credit card I used, but the purchase went fairly smoothly.
