That was my first thought, too! Blech.

My other thought is the same as some folks in this forum. Why is a pocket knife a threat and knitting needles (as just one example - how about pens, stiletto shoes, chopsticks, etc...) not a threat? Yes, this is rhetorical, but MAN, I am just so sick and tired of this mess.

I am Chairman's (>100K miles/year) on US for the past three or four years. I suspect that I may not fly at ALL this year just so that I can avoid this insanity.

Death* to the TSA.


*Just in case "they" are monitoring this post, I don't actually wish that TSA personnel actually die (though they all will eventually), but that the agency dies. Can't we get some kind of anti-TSA smiley face thingy here??
