You will not be missing much by skipping Singapore.. weather is hot and humid all the time, chance of rain daily... with a shopping mall every ten feet with the same stores. It's a great place to live, not so glamorous to visit. Seeing as live in Singapore now, from Los Angeles originally, I like Singapore better. But just like I was in Los Angeles, nice city, but not great to visit, too young.

Bali was awesome.. there's also the west coast of Thailand (phuket and krabi), Langkawi in malaysia... you can try the east coast but it will be hit or miss, and some islands are actually closed till april usually, so check ahead.
