That's cool. Just went to look into availability on a one-way trip on LAX-SFO today; On the "schedule & fare" results, aircraft for UA556 is shown as A320 and seat map is unavailable (though seat maps for earlier flights today were still available).

If it has the lie-flat seats, maybe you could have a 20-minute nap.

In my entire life, I've been on a 747 on a domestic flight only twice; once on NW in the early 90s MSP-LAX, and once in Dec 2008 on UA from ORD-SFO.

If you are on this flight today, I hope you'll post a report on it.
