Yes, first class passengers are entitled to one guest each regardless of status. Usually the guest has to be on the same flight as you are (which in your case is not a problem), but this is not always enforced.
I thought that they just had to be on a BA flight that day, easy as only BA flights from T5, rather than on the same flight?
