I think it's a dumb idea to serve a meal at 10:40 pm. For some of us it is really a 1:40 am meal.
Why do they do this?
Remember that all the airlines flying to NZ and Australia leave post 10pm. Not everyone has access to the Lounges and the food outlets at LAX & SFO are fairly limited and exxy.
I would be horrified if all I got was a snack.
