Yes, because Europe and the US don't change the clocks on the same day. So the plane times change during the gap, while the time difference is less/more (depending).

The OP is traveling in May. The US (the country, not the airline) changes to DST Sun. Mar. 14 @2 AM. The EU changes to DST Sun. Mar. 28 @2AM. Only only one week difference and neither is during the time the OP is traveling. This is a schedule change folks. Plain and simple.
