Glad they made it safely. It sounds as if common sense prevailed regarding their entry into New Zealand: as you say, even if they fell foul of the letter of the rules it must have been pretty clear to anyone who cared to think that they were clearly planning to leave again.

Anyway, I hope they enjoy their trip!
