At the very end of boarding, an agent came on with a boarding pass, came to my seat, asked if I was xxx, and gave me my new bp, 6a.
Very, very nice. This has happened to me before on NW, but being new to DL and their operation, from what I have read on FT, this is not normal for DL.
Is this sop for DL, or was I just very fortunate?
Basically, just means one of the F pax missed their flight. Usually, unless the plane is really late or something, they'll bump the next pax in line.
