Yes. In my case my boot bag is a slightly too large for carryon roller bag that carries boots and some other stuff. I do this because I go from my apartment to the airport via subway, and carrying skis, a boot bag, a roller bag, and my backpack is not practical.

Also, it's easier to roll a bag with boots than it is to carry one, at least until you get to the snow.
