Flights across the Pacific can at times be effected +- an hour by winds.

I one time had a flight when the ground speed was down to about 400mph !

Regardless of anything, you either will or will not make the connection. You have one hour to clear customs and get to the other terminal. Even if arriving on time this is no lock.

I would guess you probably make it, but I would be prepared for a miss.
