i agree. i fly hub to hub so pretty much everyone on the plane is zone 1. the GA will call "zone 1, Chairman, Platinum, Gold, and Silver can all board and EVERYONE gets in line. As a CP usually in FC I am one of the last on the plane and find that the FC cabin overhead is already full. One time I was bulkhead (didn't get upgraded) and by the time I could get up to the line 90% of the plane boarded. When they call FC first people tend to make a little more room b/c they feel they have a minute before their Zone is called - when they just call all the preferred people, people in Zone 2 jump to the front of the line and try to board.
