Further to my previous thread, my booking is held but not yet confirmed as the final leg doesn't go onsale till tomorrow.

I've been thinking, am I making the best use of my miles. I have circa 110k and my girlfriend has 20k.

The plan is to pay for economy and upgrade to upper one way for 60k each, and come back economy.

I also have a companion reward and a PE upgrade reward available to me.

We're going London - Hong Kong - Sydney then coming back Perth - Singapore - London.

If the flight back is Singapore airways, is there a PE upgrade that can be done?

Am I best doing it the way we're doing, or should I consider something else? I've been saving these miles for this trip for a long time so I want to make the most of it!

Any thoughts / advice appreciated!
