I haven't a clue what the difference is only that one is bigger than the other. I always thought the turnip was the bigger of the two.
Ahh, no the turnip is the smaller of the two, and generally has whiter flesh than the swede, which is more of a yellow colour.
I stand corrected on the spelling of "neep"!
