Hey all... I love lurking around on this board, this is a very savvy group of flyers.

I am about to ask what is probably a futile question. I am flying IAH to FRA tomorrow. I am a Gold on an L class fare. When I went to check in online I noticed that my flight is almost completely empty. I have scoured the board and it seems I am totally screwed on getting an upgrade since this is a BusinessFirst market.

Am I?

I am hoping that one of you guys knows the secret backdoor for an upgrade. Currently there are more than 20 seats open and the list is empty.
