The Berlin hotel may not be a Ritz, but the location is great, across the street from Connextion and KaDeWe, right down the street from K'damm. For the low price I paid, I thought it was actually quite nice. I wasn't on the prowl, but I would still stay there again if I went back to BER, as long as their rates dont go up.
