The only clothing I had that may have had a smell to it was my coat, and it wasn't noticable to me when I checked it today. TI had no smoking materials with me, so I know I didn't leave any.
I am just upset that the front desk pushed me off, and the manager still has not called back. If they discuss this and listen to me, then we have no problem. If they insist on charging me, we will see if Amex backs me up when I dispute the charge.
This has been the first bit of trouble I have had with an IC property in years. Last year, a property charged me for a no-show, when I was in ICU in Alaska for a week, unable to call to cancel. The GM was a jerk, but IC took care of me when I sent them a nice email.
