Oh I must disagree!

For starters about the food. I love the idea that you can see samples of the food so that you get some idea of what you're ordering. Some of the descriptions on the CCR menu are no help at all and tend towards false advertising. And the food that we sampled in the TG lounge - a won ton soup and a pad thai wrapped in a delicate omelette - was scrumptious.

I agree the private rooms thing is a bit weird in terms of the space they take up - but you could say the same about the handful of cabanas in the CCR.

And no way, I mean really no way, can you compare the solicitous service from the waiting staff in the TG lounge to the CCR's casual, indifferent staff.
