I am not a huge fan of the CCR which tends to suffer from the same faults as it's predecessor at T4 in that the staff (except the generally pleasant bar staff) are really not very proactive or customer oriented. You really should not have to play "hunt the staff" every time you want something.
The cabanas are more of a gimmick than a useful option and in my limited experience the service in the dining room has been very poor. The CCR ambience is better but the ability to grab things from the buffet in the Flounge means that you don't suffer the endless delays possible in the CCR.
The biggest fault of the CCR is the lack of power supplies by seating. Very few of the more private seating areas have power supplies and thus grabbing a pleasant place to spend an hour or 2 can be difficult if you want to work or be otherwise connected.
This is my opinion of the CCR, with one small qualification. The cabanas are indeed gimmicky, but it's nice that they are booked for fixed blocks of time. When using shower facilities in most lounges, I am aware that there's a queue behind me, and I feel somewhat obligated to hurry it up. If I've booked a cabana for an hour (or two or three or four), I can take my spacey, jet-lagged time and know I'm not holding anyone else up.
