As for the T5 CCR v BKK F lounge....not much in it. I much prefer the CCR dining. I doubt if I would use the Spa at T5 although we did try it at BKK.....the whole experience was impressive from being escorted to the spa sat down and given a pre-treatment drink - then taken for the treatment - taken for tea and nibbles before being escorted back to the lounge.
We had a "private room" which enhanced the whole experience and without that it wouldn't be much different from the CCR in fact the CCR probably wins on the layout side.....staff at BKK were all fantastic and of course they have a smoking room there.
Both are excellent lounges but one is already well impressed at BKK before you get anywhere near the lounge whereas at LHR you are not.
I would agree with all of this but I find Thai massage a little hard for my increasingly doughy skin

The kerbside to aircraft door service you get in BKK with TG F is unrivalled anywhere except perhaps for the FCT in FRA, it is just a shame that TG dropped the limo service at BKK. BA fall somewhat short of TG to put it mildly.
