I'm flying on KLM from Aberdeen, UK to Minneapolis, via Schiphol.

My transfer in Schiphol is only 50 minutes. KLM says 'plenty of time'.

When I get off the plane, do I just walk to the US-bound plane gate?

Do I have to go through any customs/passport control?

In Heathrow, even with a transfer, one must re-check into a US-bound flight 30 minutes in advance (I missed one by checking in 29 minutes, and they wouldn't budge, had to be re-booked) - does this happen in Amsterdam too?
