Maybe familiar breeds contempt in terms of regular use of the Flounge but I prefer the CCR since:

1. I can get a decent meal in CCR. I can only get a snack at the Flounge
2. The desert wine is far superior in the CCR compared with what offered inflight in F
3. I use the Flounge often and no longer get excited by it.

The downside about the CCR is it feels "small" given the interior design and furnishing but the feel is no different to many traditional London clubs. It is meant to be "British" Airways after all. The Flounge feels far more modern and is more condusive for work. The atmosphere in the CCR is a place to chill.

I must admit that after dining, I normally hide in a cabana so I have never really sat in the main CCR lounge. Why? Think Homer Simpson and being able to loosen the belt and err........ "feel at home".
