we were there from 1/1 - 1/5 on half ffn, half points. got an upgrade to a suite on the 15th floor. pretty nice room overall. i would agree that the hotel is showing some age. the location is great though, just off orchard road. the lounge was decent, but nothing compared to some of the other asian hyatts. was also disappointed that there was no singaporean breakfast items, or singaporean cocktail hour items for the matter, like the other asian hyatts have (for their own country).

diamond amenity was not as good as thc's, we only got a 9 piece box of chocolates and some fruit. no wine.

the pool is nice, but a pretty good hike from the rest of the hotel. it is a good tranquil location in the middle of singapore.

i also have to give some props to the hotel staff, we arrived a bit past midnight but they were able to take my suit and shoes for pressing and shining, respectively, just before 1a and have both back to me by 9a. i had a wedding to attend that same day, so the speed was great.
