Orbitz won't charge you change or cancellation fees. However, hotels may have a cancellation deadline or even have rates that are prepaid/non-refundable. Those cancel policies are a function of the specific rate/hotel booked.
Some of the rates available on Orbitz are the same as those available on hotel websites; some are not.
