Don’t forget the cargo. Without decent cargo it is difficult to make real money on the IC routes unless you are able to score a very high yield on pax. Only SK knows their cargo numbers but one could guess that MNL would not be very profitable. PVG or SFO sound much better. And why not CPH-SIN non-stop? SQ are operating full flights 3xweek from CPH so SK could fill out a gap and avoid pax going to FRA or LHR to catch SQ.

I am afraid that BKK has never been doing that well due to the long lay-over in BKK for a/c and especially crew. High pax numbers can not always compete with high costs (and labour unions).
