2.In your opinion- is 2 days enough time to spend at the camp? They have a two day package on offer now- and for me I am thinking of arriving in Chiang Rai around 13:20 on the TG flight from Bangkok, then departing after 2 nights at the hotel on the afternoon PG flight from Chiang Mai to Samui. Would this work in your opinion/experiences?
1. No idea how much it was - sorry. We were staying at FS Chiang Mai prior to FS Tented. The 3-hour transfer was from FS Chiang Mai to FS Tented Camp, so this would not apply if you are flying into Chiang Rai. Chiang Rai's airport is around 30 mins drive from the Camp. You have to take a FS transfer as otherwise they would not be able to organise a smooth connection to the boat then transfer you from the drop-off pavilion to the camp.
2. 2 nights would be OK, but 3 nights would be my minimum here.
