Great story BBB. My father flew torpedo bombers in WW2 so that is why I've had a love for all things aviation during my life. I remember him mentioning that women aviators ferried planes during the war. That is amazing you actually met one. From your posts it's quite obvious that you love flying for more than just the paycheque.^ I'm sure the lady was very pleased for the opportunity to tell her story to you.
