Apart from the rather cringeworth 'Young Elite' bit, there is an obvious prejudice against young people trying to acess the service they (or someone else) have paid for. I saw the only person challenged on my last trip on entering the fast-track security was a young man. Staff should be trained not to do it IMO - it is not as if there is a horde of people inappropriately trying to get through screening in probably not any less time than if they'd gone in the normal queue.
