iPod/earphones in their ears? From my very unscientific observation, I notice that far more younger passengers do have their earphones in than do older passengers.

I never particularly minded talking to people when I was young. Nowadays I don't mind as long as I'm not wanting to go to sleep. Some people one comes across on a flight are quite fascinating.
