To answer the OP's question: I wouldn't be anxious about the treatment in CW. Admittedly, I'm 15 years older than you, but I witnessed many CW pax of your age and they were always treated nicely.
However, I also have a question to you, Chiflero: Is there anything wrong talking to pax in their 20s or younger? Older pax are usually very open for a small chat, e.g. during taxiing or sometimes during dinner (although less so in BA CW due to the divider). But I find young neighbours always very close-mouthed. I think I'm as kind to them, as I am to other fellow pax, not more but also not less. Any clue why they do not talk?
