Question. Which is the best IC hotel in Mexico.

I'm using BA miles to fly to LA for a couple of weeks. I was thinking of spending a few days on the beach. All of the 6c hotels in Mexico seem to get a poor rating.

Or, would you ditch IC for this. Best hotel / beach (ideally not busy) in Mexico in May?
