So most likely the travel coordinators tried to play hardball with United who wouldn't sweeten the deal any further, or perhaps the reverse with United not offering the same terms. I could see why they now have to give you instructions to avoid United. 1 or 2 less GS at SFO wont hurt the rest of us.
