If you can get it in a standard size/weight bag it is part of your normal allowance. If you can not then you deal with the various surcharges. All the details are there.
Yes, that's the same page I referenced in my OP. My point in asking was how reality compares to theory. Not that there can be differences in the wonderful world of air travel...
