Miles+cash is always an option you can ask for - most people think it represents good value.

Taxes for the trip look like they might be about £355 pp according to the ITA tool. Ouch. That's mainly the fuel surcharge on LX and the £90 APD ex UK. This is only an estimate - but if they quote you much more than this then ask them to check.

Do you think its cheaper to fly to AMS from Glasgow first then? i.e. what would the taxes be from there?
