Actually a few yrs ago an expat friend of mine was crossing the road in front of leela in BLR and was run over by a guy on a bicycle riding the wrong way. My friend was looking for traffic coming in the direction of travel but forgot to look both ways before crossing the road.
The guy on the bicycle did not brake/ stop or slow down. Except my buddy who was on all fours.
